GENERAL CONDITIONS


General conditions and useful information for Moby Lines for Corsica and Sardinia; Sardegna Lines for Sardinia and Navarma Lines for Elba.

1) REFUND OF LOST OR STOLEN TICKETS:
The loss or theft of a ticket must be reported immediately to the competent police authorities. A duplicate ticket can only be issued on full payment. The lost or stolen ticket may be reimbursed after one year from its issue date, provided that it has not been used.
2) CANCELLATION FEES:
Full-fare tickets can be reimbursed by the issuing agency with the following penalties. Is not possible to cancel the ticket by phone: it is necessary to go to a travel agency or Moby Lines office, asking them the cancellation and check that they put the stamp and date on the ticket to validate the cancellation. After that you can ask the issuing office for the refund.
CORSICA and SARDINIA:
- more than 30 days before departure: 10%;
- more than 48 hours before departure: 20%;
- less than 48 hours, until 1 hour before departure: 50%;
- passengers failing to present themselves at the departure without previous warning or less than 1 hour before departure: 100%.
ELBA:
- more than 30 days before departure: 10%;
- more than 10 days before departure: 20%;
- after these periods no refund, but the ticket may be used another time if modified before departure, in the same year of issuing, after reservation.
All requests of refund can be accepted only if arrived until the same year of ticket's issuing.
WARNING:
No refund for passengers failing to present themselves at the departure.
MOBY PEX:
Tickets issued under the Moby Pex special offer may not be reimbursed or modified.
3) MODIFICATION PENALTIES for all lines. MODIFICATION OF DATE, LINE, TIME: can be accepted, with a fee of 20,00 Euro for each modification, only if shown on the ticket. Difference of rate or modification for NUMBER OF PASSENGERS/VEHICLES, could be refund by the issuing agency with following penalties:
- more than 30 days before departure: 10%;
- more than 10 days before departure: 20%;
- after these periods no refund, all differences must be paid.
4) EMBARKATION:
Passengers must check-in at least 30 minutes prior to departure (90 minutes if travelling with a vehicle). Passengers failing to check-in within the stipulated time will forfeit the right of embarkation.
5) REDUCTIONS:
No others reductions except these on SPECIAL RATES page.
6) OPEN DATE TICKETS:
Not possible.
7) DOCUMENTS:
Passengers must be in possession of all documents required to entry into the country to which they are proceeding. Healt and vaccination certificate is required for domestic animals, which are not admitted in the cabins and lounges.
8) TRANSPORT REGULATION:
Passengers and their belongings are carried at the passengers own risk. The Company is not responsible for any loss, damage or theft to vehicles and/or accessories.
The transport of vehicles powered by liquid gas must be declared at time of booking. For safety reasons, electronic anti-theft devices must be disarmed during the voyage.
9) Timetable and fares may be changed at any time without notice. The Company will not accept any liability for sudden modification due to adverse weather conditions, strike, technical or mechanical breakdown, force majeure or any othr reason beyond their control.
WARNING:
MAKE/MODEL AND REGISTRATION OF VEHICLES 
MUST BE INDICATED AT THE TIME OF BOOKING
LThe total lenght, (including tow bar) width and height must be indicated at time of booking. Failure to comply with these requirements may result in cancellation of the booking and being placed on the waiting list for the next sailing, on payment of the difference where applicable.
